About Leah
For Leah, it was love at first sight. Though she'd visited her family on the Front Range many times before, it wasn't until she met her future in-laws in 2009 that she discovered the Grand Valley. This was the place her husband had been born and raised, and where his family has called the valley home since the 1800s, when they first settled here to grow peaches. Generations later, it was easy for Leah to see why they'd never left: where else can you find a warm, small-town sense of community paired with the conveniences of a mid-sized city, all set against the kind of scenery people travel thousands of miles to see? Leah and her husband are now happily raising their three kids as the sixth generation to call this beautiful area home.
Leah was particularly drawn to the Grand Valley because it felt nostalgic of her own home before the dot-com boom transformed it nearly overnight. Originally from the heart of what is now Silicon Valley in California, she saw what effect rapid transformation untethered from a strong sense of community and shared purpose can have. That experience is what drives Leah to be involved in the classroom and community in hopes of helping preserve what makes the Grand Valley special as it undergoes its own transformation.
After completing her undergraduate degree from UC Davis, Leah began her professional career supporting a top-producing real estate team in Northern California. There, she discovered her love for guiding homebuyers through one of the most important, personal, and often stressful decisions they'll ever make. That passion carried into her next role at a respected Bay Area homebuilder, where she learned the intricacies of home construction firsthand, an expertise she still draws on for her clients today.
Years later, Leah’s warm personality and customer service instincts landed her a role recruiting top talent at Google. She thrived in the competitive, metrics-driven environment, but eventually chose to step back from her career to raise her growing family.
A decade later, having settled in Grand Junction and ready to return to work, it wasn't the pull of big tech that called her back. It was memories of her early career, paired with her love for the Grand Valley and her habit of talking anyone's ear off about it, that led her back to real estate.
Now as a full-time REALTOR® at The Christi Reece Group, Leah brings all of it to the way she works with clients: her early real estate experience, her firsthand knowledge of construction, her people-first instincts from Google, and her deep involvement in the community. She starts by listening, understanding not just what someone is looking for, but why it matters to them, understanding that buying a home is a deeply personal decision that’s far more than simply checking off a list of boxes. From there, she serves as both a guide and advocate, walking clients through each step of buying or selling with patience, honesty, and a steady hand, so they feel supported through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Founded in 2019, The Christi Reece Group brings more than 195 years of combined experience and has helped over 2,700 buyers and sellers navigate more than $1.1 billion in real estate transactions. The team’s expertise spans residential, luxury, relocation, new construction, development, property management, and commercial real estate.
When she's not helping clients navigate the Grand Valley market, Leah can usually be found walking her two bernedoodles, biking local trails, bundled up at the ice rink watching her boys play hockey ("goalie parent" being unquestionably the most stressful job she's ever held, IYKYK), volunteering at the schools, or poring over design inspiration for the ongoing project that is her own home in the Redlands.
Whether you're new to the area or a Grand Valley native starting the next chapter in your hometown, Leah would be honored to help you navigate the journey.
